On start, Edge is preloading your Edge Start and Edge New Tab pages. You can stop this from happening by using Group Policy 'Prevent Microsoft Edge from starting and loading the Start and New Tab page at Windows startup and each time Microsoft Edge is closed'. Here are the corresponding Registry settings: - current user. The Group Policy Editor gpedit.msc is only available in Professional and Enterprise editions of the Windows 10 operating systems. The editor is not included in Windows 10 Home; while it is possible to make many changes in the Registry directly, using the Group Policy Editor is often more convenient, especially when it comes to the discovery of new settings or making multiple changes. Thanks for the detailed report! This is the intended behavior. Policy Plus does not commit GPO changes to disk until you use File | Save Policies. Canon mp230 drivers windows 10. Admittedly, that's not made very clear, since it doesn't prompt to save changes before closing. I should do something about that. Neither Policy Plus nor the LGPE scan for changes made since they opened; this would hinder performance and, in the case of Policy Plus, clobber any unsaved changes. I advise making Group Policy edits in only one program at once. |
